Over the course of the battle, they'll charge themselves up with energy and send that energy to Zephyrine. Not only are they powerful themselves, but they're some kind of shielding/recovery golems. To complicate matters, as you wail on her she'll start activating those golems that you can see in the above screenshot. Unless you're level 30, there's a very good chance that she'll wipe out the entire party on her first turn. She has very strong offensive and defensive capabilities. To trigger the fight, you need only tell her, "Come at me, bitch!" If you don't declare her innocent of any wrongdoing, she's going to kill you. If you keep putting the pressure on her, she'll eventually get pissed off and give you an ultimatum. To fight her to the death, you have to question her on just how involved she was with the ogres we dealt with during the 2nd Kva visit. I'll go ahead and show you Zephyrine's chambers since it plays into the REAL fight with her. She's one of the single most powerful enemies in the game. (So we're being forced to prove that Zethron is worthy of tapping that dragon ass.)Īll you need to do is survive several turns of combat with her. If we impress her enough, she'll even consider "visiting" Zethron. She's basically decided that we're Zethron's servants, and so our strength will reflect on Zethron's strength. Being asked about her intentions will lead her to challenge us. The first is part of a quest where Zethron wants to know her intentions. There are actually two possible fights with this dragon. Besides, killing her is the only way to get that tooth that Alfans needs if he's going to save his people from a terrible plague. I really want to kill a dragon now, and you can't kill Zethron.
I decided to take the papers instead of burning them, but first I'm going to deal with Zephyrine.
